Meet the Owner: Julie Christophers

Hi, I’m Julie. As the owner of NumberWorks’nWords Clayfield, I have the privilege, along with our amazing team, of being able to support and/or extend the Literacy and Numeracy of children in our local community. Personally, I am incredibly proud of the work we do; encouraging and empowering the next generation of young people, to have the academic and self-confidence they need to succeed. I have so many stories, literally hundreds of examples of past and present students, for whom our individualised program has made the world of difference. I know we are changing lives for the better and affording children choices in the future. I am passionate about creating a space where children love learning and are encouraged and inspired to bring their best. I am also passionate about supporting parents, as they seek to understand the learning needs of their children. Our free assessment provides a detailed and comprehensive report on each child’s unique needs and I encourage all parents to seek this out and to book in a time to visit our Clayfield centre. Meet the Manager: Sarah Clark

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m the Manager of NumberWorks’nWords Clayfield. I first discovered my passion for teaching when I started as an English and maths tutor with NumberWorks’nWords in 2015. I also spent a few years in Dalian, China, working as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, before returning to NumberWorks’nWords in 2021.

Getting to work directly with our students, alongside our team of exceptional tutors, is always the highlight of my day. We create individual lesson plans that are unique to every student, so they can learn in the way that works best for them. There is nothing that compares to the feeling of seeing our students build confidence and improve in their abilities from week to week. This is the reason I returned to NumberWorks’nWords, and also the reason that I cannot imagine myself being anywhere else!
